‘MOHA Angel Ambassador’
The MOHA Angel Ambassador Program is a network of trained MOHA volunteers, made up of fellow loss parents who are available to hospitals, clinics or birthing centers to provide direct support for mothers and families experiencing the loss of their baby. The MOHA Ambassador team members will assist parents with one-on-one grief support starting from the moment they find out about their loss. With the parents' consent, the volunteer will make contact either in-person or virtually, to help the families in their time of need and to give a face to "the other side" of grief while they are in the hospital and beyond.
The MOHA Angel Ambassadors will not be providing medical or mental health advice; simply grief support based off their own experiences. Completion of a MOHA sponsored bereavement training program will be required.
